A Vampire: The Masquerade Live Action Role-Playing Experience
One night. One mystery. Everyone has a secret.
AN INVITATION TO THE NIGHT
Welcome to Club Masque
Vampires live among us—not as monsters in castles, but behind nightclub doors, corporate offices, penthouses, and carefully maintained human lives.
You have joined this hidden society of immortal predators who walk unnoticed through the modern world, feeding from humanity while playing a dangerous game of status, loyalty, and survival.
Tonight, Kansas City’s undead gather at Club Masque, where old rivalries are set aside for an evening of music, pleasure, and whispered politics—but something beneath the elegance is beginning to feel wrong.
If something inside you suddenly wanted something you never chose, would you even know?
A Charity Vampire: The Masquerade LARP Experience
The Beautiful Dead is an 18+ charity one-shot live-action role-playing experience set in Kansas City, using the By Night Studios – Laws of the Night ruleset.
Whether you’re a seasoned vampire LARPer or stepping into the World of Darkness for the very first time, you’re welcome at Club Masque. No prior experience is necessary, rules will be explained, and pre-generated characters are available.
Created by MES Storyteller of the Year Jeremiah Bjorgaard and his storytelling team.
Sponsored by By Night Studios and the Modern Enigma Society.
What Is a Vampire LARP?
Live-action role-playing (LARP) is a collaborative, interactive story where you step into the role of a character and experience the adventure firsthand. Instead of following a script, you’ll interact with other players, form alliances, uncover secrets, and make choices that help shape how the story unfolds.
In Vampire: The Masquerade, you’ll portray a vampire navigating a hidden society of immortal predators, dangerous rivalries, and supernatural intrigue. Our Storyteller team guides the experience and explains the rules along the way—no previous LARP or acting experience is required.
Become a Character
Step into the role of a vampire with your own personality, ambitions, and secrets. A pre-generated character can be provided, so you can jump straight into the story.
Uncover the Mystery
Follow rumors, ask questions, and piece together clues as strange events unfold around Club Masque. Every conversation could bring you closer to the truth.
Shape the Story
Your choices matter. Forge alliances, challenge rivals, pursue personal ambitions, and influence how the night’s events unfold. There is no predetermined script—your decisions help shape the story and its outcome.
What to Expect at Club Masque
Expect an evening of music, intrigue, and immersive storytelling as you step into the hidden world of Kansas City’s vampires. You’ll mingle with allies and rivals, navigate supernatural politics, pursue personal ambitions, and discover that not everything at Club Masque is quite what it seems.
Our Storyteller team will be available throughout the evening to answer questions, explain rules, and help you navigate the experience, whether you’re a first-time player or a seasoned veteran.
